Limestone has probably been mined near Vitošov since the 15th century. Industrial mining then began in 1872, when a shaft kiln for burning lime was put into operation. During the 19th and 20th centuries, the mining and processing of limestone was expanded and modernized several times. Since 1992, the quarry has been owned by VÁPENKA VITOŠOV, s.r.o.

The hydroelectric power plant is a technical monument built in 1922 on the left bank of the Morava River in the village of Třeština, district of Šumperk. In 2008, it was declared a national cultural monument of the Czech Republic under registration number ÚSKP 326. Wikipedia

Nice gravel road, paneled in places. It runs along the top of the anti-flood dikes, which are supposed to protect the adjacent villages from the flooded Morava River. During the spring thaw, the surrounding meadows are flooded by the Morava River and it resembles a path between lakes.
