Laid out in the 19th century, fell into disrepair after 1946, renovated and maintained again since 2012.

💚💛💚 Lake Olescher is inviting for a swim – frozen over, what a shame! (loosely based on Kurt Schramm) In the summer, we often found the lake too polluted. However, you can relax on the sunbathing lawn and, if you like, take advantage of the snack bar during the summer months. The lake is definitely an excellent destination (or stopover) for hiking, camping, and picnics. Enjoy your stay and hikes! 💚💛💚 The Goldbachtal is one of my absolute favorite hiking trails due to its deep incision and its originality. You can continue z. B. to Olescher See (olessky ryblik - bathing only conditionally, fishing, camping, in summer with snacks) or in the direction of Janov (Janska) and extend the round as you wish. The cemetery in Schemmel is one of the few well-preserved sites where German and Czech citizens found their last resting place. Nicely separated on the right and left, but at least together and not decayed or destroyed. From 2012 the cemetery, which fell into disrepair after the Second World War, was restored quite well.
