It's not without reason that it's the Nature Friends House of the Year. A place, a team full of soul with a love of detail. The rooms, food and drinks are great. The breakfast is a dream in the mountains. You want to come back here. Thank you for this great work!

A very friendly hut, we spent the night here in camp. Food very good. The hut is often used as a starting point for mountain tours - not for us. So it was pretty quiet in the morning. The location of the hut is almost on the edge and with a large rock next to it. We watched the sunset and sunrise. The view of the glacier is also great, and you can also see the Schöberl well.

Nice refuge with 3 Bernese Mountain dogs :) very family run. Food and storage - everything is fine. Very good breakfast :)

Beautifully located hut with good food, the large beer cost 5.60 in September '23, half board cost 36.- Unfortunately we couldn't use the shower; due to a lack of water, only guests aged 3 days and over had access. In the morning, if the weather is good, you can see a wonderful sunrise! Reservation definitely recommended!

My photos are from October 11, 2014. We climbed at night with headlamps. We were already at the top at 5:20 a.m. - a great experience - we were rewarded with a great sunrise and a wonderful view of the Dachstein. Standing on such a beautiful mountain and feeling the radiant heat of the rising sun after a cold wait was a wonderful experience. In fond memory of my friend Alois.
