Riegelnik was a student of the Actionist artist Hermann Nitsch. Since 1983, she has had exhibitions in Vienna and abroad. She has also contributed to several children's books. In 1993, she attended the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg, where she studied under Hermann Nitsch. She lives in Vienna and Carinthia.

The western shore of the lake is not cleared of snow, but it is still manageable.

The first and last sections are mainly paved, but in between there are lovely paths up the mountain. Beautifully varied scenery. There are particularly lovely trails through the forests. A good level of fitness is required.

Here, the path curves around Kitzelberg, offering a good view of the Kleinsee lake below. You can rest on the bench and enjoy the view into the distance.

In summer the place is buzzing 😂

There is only a weak current flowing through Lake Klopein. Only a few smaller superficial tributaries with low water flow and groundwater feed it. This makes Lake Klopein one of the least flooded lakes in Carinthia, which also explains the high water temperature. The runoff leaves the lake in the west and ultimately drains into the Drau. Lake Klopein is 1.8 kilometers long, 800 meters wide and 48 meters deep at its deepest point; the average depth is 23 meters.
