The approach to the via ferrata is no easy task! It was dry when I was there, but you still have to take each step deliberately and slowly. It's a steep descent. The path is marked with red dots on the rocks. I found that the approach required almost more concentration than the via ferrata itself.

The descent (approx. 100 m) to the start is tricky when it is wet (e.g. from the previous day). It is best to take enough time and rest.

The view is one of the most beautiful around Gmunden, and easy to reach, you don't have to wander into the distance, the beauty is so close, you should definitely take a dip in the lake 😎
