I can only advise against the Jägersteig. This is very poorly marked and muddy. On the other hand, hiking trail 231 is really highly recommended and beautiful.

A beautiful mountain lake! A dream to enjoy the peace and quiet here (preferably on the opposite bank from the path coming from the Rinnerhütte). Simply wonderful 💞😍. On hot summer days, a (guaranteed) cooling 😉 jump into the "wet" 😀 is recommended

After 17 years there is a new, very nice tenant at the hut. There is a dish of the day, excellent snacks and pastries.

The Dolinensee is on the Styrian side and has no surface outlet, but seeps through the karst rock, where it resurfaces about 500 m further down at the Jägerbründl. Great cooling off after climbing the Rinnerkogel with a swim in the cool lake.
