From the opposite bank of the Danube, there is an impressive view of the expansive voestalpine industrial site in Linz. The cycle path opens up to the view of the massive industrial facilities with their blast furnaces, piping systems, and factory halls. At dusk or at night, the area is particularly fascinating: the light from the facilities reflects in the Danube, and the industrial silhouette dominates Linz's skyline. This section is also a popular stop for cyclists, offering exciting views of the industrial side of the city, which forms a striking contrast to the green river landscape on the opposite bank.

The Steyregg Railway Bridge crosses the Danube between Linz and Steyregg and is part of the Summerau Railway. It was built between 1870 and 1873 and replaced in 1924/25 with a new truss superstructure, while the old piers were retained. The approximately 451-meter-long bridge was raised by approximately 2.25 meters and reinforced between 1976 and 1979 during the construction of the Abwinden-Asten power plant. It remains in operation today, and a double-track expansion of the line is planned.

The Danube Bridge in Linz, built in 1938, is 250 meters long and 30 meters wide. The six-lane road connects the state capital with the beautiful Mühlviertel region. The tram and the Pöstlingberg railway cross the rapids of the Danube here. There is also a cycle path.
