The Kilden Theatre and Concert Hall for Southern Norway is organized through the merger of four institutions: the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra, the Kilden Theatre, the Kilden Opera, and Kilden Culture. If you're in Kristiansand, you should check out the old town. Beautiful old Norwegian houses that are very well preserved and look beautiful.

From here there are several viepoints overlooking the busy harbour of Kristiansand. It's a nice insight into the city's maritime activity.

Cycling near the coastal community of Høllen provides pleasant views out towards the sea. You can often see across the Skagerrak and towards the nearby islands of the Søgne archipelago. It's a nice section of the southern coast to enjoy the maritime atmosphere and take a break during your ride.

Norway's 8th longest river, the Otra empties into the sea at Kristiansand. There's some great running to be had on its banks in the Kristiansand region. The Otra Elvepart, to the northwest of the city, is a fine example.
