Small train station in Vikersund. Passenger trains rarely pass through here anymore. Freight trains usually roar through.

Route your gravel ride here for a nice loop from Oslo. The view is great! Don't forget to double check the route as komoot has a hard time distingushing rideable gravel roads from rocky and grassy paths.

Hole Church is a notable stone church located near Hønefoss, with roots stretching back to the Middle Ages. It's a popular spot for cycling routes around Tyrifjorden or Steinsfjorden. Consider a stop to admire the historic architecture and the peaceful atmosphere of the churchyard.

This rest area is located near the bridge separating the large Tyrifjorden from the scenic Steinsfjorden. It's a convenient place for bike tourers to pause and take in the surroundings. Enjoy the views of the bridge structure and the expansive water bodies on either side.

A somewhat rotten staircase leads from the parking lot to this sensational vantage point, the "Kronprinsens Utsikt".

From here you can look over the whole landscape and watch one or the other paraglider take off.
