The East Fork Quinault River Trail is one of the most popular trails on the south portion of the park and hundreds of hikers visit Enchanted Valley to take in the tremendous views and see the chalet each year.

The Putvin Trail is a wilderness trail in the Mount Skokomish Wilderness. The path offers a little of everything with some mileage in a dense forest, and some mileage in open meadows with mountain views. There are a couple popular mountain lakes along this trail that people like to hike to.

Lake of the Angels is tucked away at the foot of Mount Stone in Olympic National Forest. A lot of the trail accessing the lake passes through the Mount Skokomish Wilderness, making this a more primitive and secluded trail. The lake is worth the trek, which is best saved for the summer and fall months.

Cooper Creek Trail is a magical hike through huge cedars, hemlocks and firs along the babbling Cooper Creek river. Parts of this trail are steep, and the trail footing can be uneven sometimes so a good pair of hiking boots are recommended. You can access the trailhead easily from the road.

This Trailhead starts the trek up Mount Rose Trail #814. The trail starts with a calm creek crossing, but then quickly moves into switchbacks and steep climb. All in all, this trail has around 3,500 feet of elevation gain by the time you reach the peak.

A popular trail that goes through one of Olympic National Park's three significant temperate rainforest valleys. Along this trail, you'll experience pristine old-growth forests, picturesque wildflower meadows, and river crossings. You might even encounter a black bear or elk.

This Trailhead provides access to Lena Lake Trail, Upper Lena Lake Trail and The Brothers Trail that runs within the Brothers Wilderness. There is a large parking area on each side of the road, and a $5 per vehicle/ per day fee is required. A Recreation Pass is also an acceptable form of payment.
