Running along the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers, the paved Levee Path provides a scenic, traffic-free route through Lewiston. Cyclists and walkers follow the top of the levee with open views of the water, river traffic, and the surrounding hills. Whether used for a short break or as a smooth bypass through town, it’s one of the most pleasant stretches of urban riding on the route.

This point is the confluence of the Snake River and Clearwater River. Here, you'll find a nice little museum about Lewis and Clark, along with some impressive statues. The combination of the historical exhibits and the views of the water makes it a worthwhile stop.

This bridge across the Snake River is a treat to bike across. Be aware that cars zip across the bridge, too, but there really isn't a better way to move from one state to the other.

Nestled along the picturesque Snake River, this marina is located within Hells Gate State Park. It boasts over 100 slips, a public boat launch, a convenience store, restrooms, and ample parking. It is a popular location for local fundraising events and watersports tours. You can even witness the excitement of jet boats preparing for their next adventure on most summer days.

The Bill Chipman Palouse Trail runs between the towns of Pullman and Moscow, Washington, traveling alongside Paradise Creek and crossing it more than a dozen times. The trail itself is a smooth strip of asphalt that's very popular with walkers, runners, and bikers.

The Bill Chipman Palouse Trail passes underneath Sunshine Road via this cute little tunnel. All told the trail runs about 8 miles, one-way, between the towns of Pullman and Moscow, Washington; but you don't have to go the entire distance if you don't want to.

Paradise Path is a 2.2-mile paved path that follows Paradise Creek through the north end of the University of Idaho campus and along the south side of the city of Moscow.

The Shattuck Arboretum is part of the University of Idaho Arboreta, a collection of outdoor museums maintained for the acquisition and proper curation of a living collection of native and introduced plants hardy in the Inland Pacific Northwest.
