We drove this section before the camper vans finished their breakfast. They seemed to love this route too; it was truly wonderfully quiet and beautiful.

We stayed at the Sogndalstrand Kulturhotell in this beautifully preserved old fishing village. The rooms were decorated in traditional style, and we felt like we were in a captain's cabin. After a short walk around the village, we relaxed in front of the house and enjoyed the evening sun. In the evening, we had dinner in the adjoining restaurant. The local beer, "BergStout Glück Auf" (see photo), was particularly interesting.

If you follow the Rameheiveien from Øyvoll, you can reach a beautiful viewpoint with a bench and map by bike or on foot. From there you have a great view over the fjords between Farsund and Øyvoll.
