Lillestrøm is a city and municipality in Akershus County, 18 km from Oslo. Conveniently and easily accessible by train. On June 13, 1998, Lillestrøm was declared a city. Since then, a four-day fair has been held annually, featuring performances by various Norwegian musicians, markets, and food. The event takes place on the city's main street, which is reserved for pedestrians only.
