This tranquil country road serves as an east-west connection in the county and runs through agricultural land and open fields, offering a serene escape from the bustling city. It's a wonderful ride in a tranquil setting, passing by expansive ranches and the occasional cattle.

Surrounded by rolling grasslands, this beautiful lake is situated along the eastern edge of Stanislaus County. The lake is largely devoid of trees, however, there is a nice day-use area with shaded picnic tables, perfect for a stop during a hot day.

This stretch of road passes by over 1,000 acres of almond and olive trees. If you're lucky enough to ride by in late winter or early spring when the almond blossoms are at their peak, the scenery transforms into beautiful fragrant white flowers.

This road has limited traffic, perfect for a great ride through endless little hills surrounded by open fields. It runs through the small town of Warnerville, comprised of only a few farmhouses and railroad tracks, once a film set location for the movie “High Noon” in 1956.

This classic 1950s American restaurant is a small gem and a lovely place to stop and grab a bite to eat when you're passing through. It is one of the few dining options available in the Stanislaus River Valley and offers an outside dining area surrounded by pastoral views, horses, and llamas.

This beautiful reservoir spans 2,900 acres and is home to the vast Woodward Regional Park, an outdoor wonderland for recreation and camping. Surrounding the lake are over 100 campsites, beaches, concessions, restrooms, and picnic areas, for plenty of options to enjoy spending time outdoors. There are paved roads around the western shore, with free entry for cyclists.

This picturesque creek is one of several that winds through the heart of nearby farms and agricultural fields in this area. It is home to plenty of largemouth bass and bluegill, making it a favorite among local anglers looking for a tranquil place to cast their line.
