What a view!... From the north, Sunset Peak can be climbed via the Brighton Ski Resort – 5.62 miles (9.04 km) round trip – 1,936 feet (approx. 600 m) elevation gain on well-maintained (mountain) trails, past three wonderful mountain lakes (Lake Mary = the first lake, more of a reservoir), Lake Martha, and Lake Catharina, and then over the pass to the summit. 360° views, and there's room to "relax" at the summit too. A second alternative route leads from the west via the Catherine Pass Trailhead – 3.88 miles (6.24 km) round trip – 1,440 feet (approx. 450 m) elevation gain. There's a fee for this, but it offers wonderful views right from the start...it's worth it!

KhPeak Overlook gives you a wide view over the valley below and the surrounding ridges. It’s a simple, open spot to pause, take a breath, and get a sense of the terrain ahead before continuing your ride or hike.

Butterfield Peaks are a twin set of summits in the Oquirrh Mountains, just west of Salt Lake City. These two summits sit across from each other and make for a great, challenging day hike. The eastern summit has a radio tower and an access road up to it, but the western peak has no man-made structures, making it perhaps the better of the two summits to pause at and snap some photos.

Spanish Fork Peak, towering at 10,192 feet, offers stunning vistas of Maple Canyon Lake and the surrounding canyon. Despite the challenging ascent, the panoramic views from the summit make the journey incredibly rewarding.

Squaw Peak Overlook provides views of the Utah Valley below to the west and views of various peaks to the east.

Big Baldy Summit is a hard peak to reach. The trail to this spot is hard and recommended for very skilled riders only. This summit offers great views of the surrounding mountains.
