The trails across the road connect to Squire's Castle, a scenic 1800s manor built in the style of a medieval fortress. The lagoon is right up against the manor grounds.

Shaker Lake provides a natural area in the middle of the city, where you can spot wildlife and have a relaxing walk around the lake. The lake was created 185 years ago by damming the Doan Brook to be used by a sawmill. It was donated by the Shaker Heights Land Company in 1895 to the city of Cleveland with the purpose of creating a park.

This pond serves as a charming fishing spot and is a visual treat for the Quarry Shelter nearby. It's the perfect place to sit at one of the many benches and enjoy the beauty of the water.

A small trail leads to a wooden overlook over the falls. The waterfall is a 10-foot drop through a narrow carved rock channel.
