This bridge played an important role in the 1920s facilitating access to both sides of the river. Currently it is one of the few steel and iron bridges left in the region.

The nicely maintained trail stays relatively flat and meanders with plenty of shade through a heavily wooded area. You'll find plenty of spots to enjoy the view of Grapevine Lake, especially at sunset.

This trail presents a well-maintained dirt path with some rocky sections mixed in as you meander along Grapevine Lake. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the stunning views of the lake along the way.

This is a historic crossing of the Elm Fork Trinity River. It was constructed on one of Denton's original wagon trails and was a vital automobile crossing during the 1920s. Today, you can see it from the excellent trail through the Ray Roberts Lake State Park Greenbelt Unit.

It is a great trail with rocky sections to test your skills on the bike. Don´t miss the beautiful views to the lake.

A very cool bridge across Lake Lewisville with a segregated bike and walking lane. The bridge is nearly 3km long and was completed in 2009. The focal point of he bridge, the steel structure in the middle, is said to be modelled after the famous Pennybacker Bridge in Austin TX.
