아이오와주 레클레어에 있는 버팔로 빌 박물관은 미시시피 강둑 바로 옆에 자리 잡고 있으며, 이 마을의 가장 유명한 "출신"인 윌리엄 F. 코디(버팔로 빌로 더 잘 알려짐)를 기념합니다. 코디는 레클레어 바로 외곽에서 태어났기 때문에 박물관에는 그의 개인 물품과 세계적으로 유명한 와일드 웨스트 쇼의 기념품이 많이 전시되어 있습니다. 버팔로 빌 외에도 이 박물관은 지역 강 역사에도 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 가장 큰 하이라이트는 현존하는 마지막 목재 선체, 증기 동력 예인선인 Lone Star로, 현재 국립 사적지로 지정되어 있습니다. 내부에는 개척자 생활, 초기 강선 조종사, 심지어 복원된 1실 교실에 대한 전시도 둘러볼 수 있습니다.

Pigeon Creek is a great place to go for a short hike by the river. Despite it's small size there are a dizzying array of birds, especially during migratory periods, so bring your camera and binoculars as you follow the short trail through the woods.

This bridge parallels the course of I-74 across the Mississippi River, keeping cyclists and other pedestrians safely away from the fast-moving vehicles. The bridge connects to cycleways on either side of the river, and also has a viewing area with an oculus.

Vander Veer Botanical Park, spanning 33 acres, is one of the earliest botanical parks west of the Mississippi River. The park was added to the Davenport Register of Historic Properties on August 4, 1993. Only closed on Mondays, this park is open every other day of the week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
