Yates Cider Mill, established in 1863, began as a grist mill before transitioning to cider production in 1876. It continues to operate using its original water-powered system, pressing fresh Michigan apples into preservative-free cider. Beautiful, large sandy beach. It gets crowded quickly on weekends and hot summer days. Plenty of parking is available.
