Very easy hike that goes under the highway and back up north to where the falls actually are, compared to the viewpoint park.

This lake is beautiful, surrounded by volcanic landscapes and beautiful forests. It has a distinctive shape from ancient lava flows, which created a natural dam along the eastern shoreline. It is a popular spot for many recreational activities, including several trails to explore surrounding the lake. It is a great place to cool off with a quick swim in the clear water on a warm day.

The short jaunt to Boyd Cave is worth your time - you can explore just the small chamber at the foot of the stairs, or bring headlamps and flashlights to check out the nearly 1880 feet of lava tube cave that stretches out from the access point.

This is a popular spot at the Deschutes River to take your boat in or out. You can also take a dip to refresh yourself.

A popular park with miles of hiking, running and mountain biking trails both on trail and pavement. Tumalo Creek offers a place to cool off on a warm day.

Belknap Hot Springs Resort is beautifully set along the McKenzie River along Oregon's Volcano Trail. You can stop in as a day use guest or stay for a night or two in their lodge, cabins, or campsites. There is a very well landscaped garden as well and a short bridge over the river. It's great as a pit stop on your ride or as its own destination.

Juniper Trailhead parking is free and open year-round. It is a small lot for access to the Maston Trail use area, a popular recreation area for hikers, runners and cyclists.

Dodds Road winds through foothills and farmlands, offering breathtaking vistas of the Cascade Mountains, including Mt. Bachelor and Three Sisters peaks. Meadows bursting with wildflowers, juniper forests, and rocky canyons create a scenic tapestry, changing with the seasons.
