You want to ride this trail on a weekday as it is too crowded with pedestrians during weekends. Nice trail!

Right off the Londonderry Rail Trail, Hood Park is a great place for a break. Right next to Hoods Pond, there is a beach facing the water so you can sit and take in the views. There are also some nice trails around the pond that are open to the public.

Hardly any vehicles in the huge parking lot: too foggy today.

Definitely worth a visit: museums, historic buildings, Black Heritage Trail, restaurants, shops, ...

This is a beautiful beach, it is nice and long, sandy and very pleasing to the eye. Nearby is the arcade, which is in contravention to the natural seashore but both have their place here, and it is a good place to have a break maybe.

Packers Falls is more just slow moving rapids than a full-on waterfall. You can actually get down to the water if you turn down Bennett Road and ride the short distance to the fall's parking area.

As you ride past the Hartley Mason Reservation you can see through the trees to Harbour Beach. It's known locally as Mother's Beach as it's so popular for families with young children. You can also find plenty of places to eat in the area if you are in need of some mid ride fuel.
