During the reclamation of Flevoland, so-called border lakes were created. Het Nuldernauw is one of those, in fact, it is the narrowest of them all. There is also a beach near the lake, where you can play or relax.

The Woldstrand is divided into various themed beaches, including a children's beach with play equipment, a youth beach with the Atoll (a storey in the lake) and a sports field, a surfing beach and a dog beach. The different beaches are connected by a promenade and there are sanitary facilities and a spacious parking lot available. There is also a restaurant with a terrace where you can enjoy an ice cream, a snack and a drink.

The Schuitenbeek transports the water from the Gelderse Vallei to the Veluwe and was dug to prevent flooding in the area. In the sixties of the last century, a weir was made in the stream at the place where I am now standing. When the water level has reached a certain height, the water can flow over the weir. But because many fish cannot pass the weir, there has been a fish passage here since 2014. A kind of ladder for fish.

Nice bike path through the forest with lots of shade and away from roads.
