Wassama Round House has been a spiritual and ceremonial site for California's Native American population for centuries. The site is currently open for special events and tours. Also, the third Saturday in October is "Gathering Day" and annual festival featuring crafts, dancing, basket weaving demonstrations and more.

Woodward Park is a park in Northern Fresno. The park has many lakes and ponds with numerous birds and lovely bridges, a Japanese Garden, gazebos and picnic benches. It is a great place for a break.

Cold Springs Summit is the highest point along the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The ride to the summit is a steady climb with varying terrain, making it a rewarding challenge for experienced cyclists. The summit provides a cool, refreshing break and an unbeatable vantage point of Yosemite’s expansive landscape.

Nice typical little town.

A shuttle bus takes you here every 15 to 20 minutes from the main parking lot. It is particularly important to note that you now need to register for Yosemite NP because the park is designed to protect against crowds. This must be done online in advance. Wishon Cove is an inlet on Bass Lake whose shore has a campground with over 40 sites that is managed by the National Forest Service.
