The road leads along the lakeside of Lake Catamount and offers beautiful views of the western foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

Well-chosen location to create a large reservoir with a small efficient dam. There's a good trailhead parking staging area. Smooth biking across the dam, then continuing on decent gravel to the south.

Meadow Point provides fishing access to the southwest corner of Steamboat lake, with undisturbed sweeping views of the most natural side. There's a bench to sit and a shallow shoreline to take a dip.

Steamboat Lake State Park comprises 2,820 acres of parkland situated west of Hahns Peak and near the community of Hahns Peak Village. It is home to Steamboat Lake, a 1,101-acre reservoir that offers excellent fishing and boating opportunities. Additionally, the park features a full-service marina and campground.

As you hike, this trail runs alongside the tranquil Hot Springs Creek, providing a peaceful ambiance. Eventually, you'll reach Strawberry Park Natural Hot Springs, one of several in the area that contributed to Steamboat Springs earning its name.

The Tombstone Nature Trail is a short hiking loop in Steamboat Lake State Park near Hahns Peak Village. It offers wonderful lake and Hahns Peak views. The name Tombstone derives from the Wheeler Gravesite along the trail. The Wheelers moved here from the North East Coast, making 243 acres in this area their homestead.

Pearl Lake is a mountain reservoir at the base of Farwell Mountain. The 167-acre lake lies in Pearl Lake State Park which offers a campground, boat ramps, nature trails west, south, and east of the lake, and many lovely picnic spots.

Hahns Peak Lake is a pristine lake in a remote Colorado area. There are trails looping around the lake, there is a campground and visitors love to paddle board on the lake. It is usually pretty quiet in this part of Colorado, which makes your hike a solitary experience.
