Glen Oak Park is a spacious 42-acre park. There are sports fields, a large field, tennis courts and several picnic areas.

The Rock Island Trail is a 38.2-mile. This section of the trail, is sometimes refered to as the Kellar Branch Trail, is fully paved and for a section runs along the front with the Illinois River.

The entrance to Black Partridge Park is a standard park with a playground, picnic tables, restrooms, and a fair bit of open green space. The trails, themselves, were built with mountain biking in mind. There are a few different loop options, and most trails are rideable by all levels of rider.

This is the southern portion of 675-acre Robinson Park, which is bisected by Mossville Road. This part of the park contains a 151-acre nature preserve that many consider the gem of Robinson Park; it contains examples of glacial drift hill prairies and oak forest.

Green Valley Camp is a swath of forested, hilly land, and contains several miles of really fun hiking and running trail. You get some nice views here and there, but some might argue that the real attraction here is the fun intervals and up and down along the trail, as opposed to the continuous uphill or downhill slog you'll find in many other places.
