The cabin itself is quite decent and has a fire pit both inside and outside. However, the toilet hut and the area next to the cabin looked pretty bad. Alternatively, just after the cabin—following a somewhat steep climb—there are a few very nice spots to pitch a tent.

If you want to switch through all your gears in a great landscape, this is the right place for you! On weekends and on very nice days, however, the road can also be relatively busy with cars and motorbikes.

Håverud is a town (småort) in the western Swedish province of Västra Götaland and the historical landscape of Dalsland. The place in the municipality of Mellerud lies on the Dalsland Canal between two lakes and has a nationwide famous aqueduct. The famous aqueduct is very bizarre, very interesting construction.
