Here, the trail goes in three directions. A few steps south of the crossroads is an old coal seam. It's a good landmark.

Probably one of the most unspectacular peaks I've ever been to. The rest area on the meadow in front of it is a thousand times more beautiful. Even the sign is crooked.

There are two picnic benches on the small meadow on the western summit, offering a great view to the north.

Shortly before the western summit, this lonely hiking map stands in the middle of the forest.

One of the few benches in Sweden I've discovered with traces of graffiti. Fortunately, the view through the tree line immediately draws attention back to the beautiful nature.

To me, it looks like this stone has an oversized nose. There are plenty of boulders throughout Småland, but I've never seen one like this. Interesting and beautiful at the same time.

At the bottom left of the large information board is a small wooden box. It contains a trilingual flyer about Taberg (Swedish, English, and German), as well as a seasonal program of attractions around Jönköping.

A beautiful covered rest area with a fantastic view of the massive rock face of Taberg. A toilet block is located opposite.
