Absolutely fantastic dirt/gravel climb, much alongside a creek. Starts at the end of the Brown's Gulch pavement (go left) and ends at the "Y". Go left to continue on Four Corners Road/Flume Gulch. I'm unsure what the road to the right is named.

This is a nice mining museum highlighting the shaft mining methods common in the area in the 19th and early to mid 20th century. There are replicas of the old town, a restored old church, and a great underground shaft mine tour 100 ft below ground in the original Orphan Girl mine you can take (highly recommended, if you have the time). Entrance to the museum is relatively cheap and the guides are helpful and nice. Don't miss the exhibit with the fluorescent minerals under black light.

This is a steady climb with a few steeper sections toward the beginning (bottom) just after the trailhead takes off from the archery range road. This trail winds through aspen groves up high and the trial has seen a lot of work and improvement recently. This one would also be a lot of fun to descend. This trail connects the lower parking lot for Sage Brush Flats up to the Blacktail Loop.

Hundreds of feet over the canyon below, you'll hoot and holler while you're riding across the safe old railroad trestle and onward to the tunnels!

Just after riding through the culvert under I-90, enjoy this short stretch of well-maintained gravel on the way back to Butte.

I later found out that this was not public land yet, so I wouldn't recommend riding it. When it's finished, it will be absolutely stunning and a huge win for Butte's cycling community. It's drop dead gorgeous in this Canyon along the Silver Bow Creek and railroad.

Love this short loop through some of my favorite Butte gravel roads with gorgeous views of Mt. Fleecer and the Pintler Range.

Flat (mostly) and easy trial from Butte out to Silver Bow Station. Some climbing west of I-15 overpass, but nice switchbacks. Gorgeous views of the Pintlers going west. Well maintained from Rocker and west. From Rocker East to Butte, there are many expansion cracks which make for a jarring ride.
