Benicia Community Park is about 50 acres has picnic areas, restrooms, and even a fenced dog park. The Lake Herman Trail runs through the park.

Stebbins Cold Canyon Reserve is beautiful. Nestled in a steep, north-facing canyon of the northern Coast Range, it showcases a range of undisturbed habitats with year-round springs providing crucial watering areas for a wide variety of wildlife, including deer, mountain lion and bear. Dogs are not allowed in the reserve, so you'll need to leave your pup home to enjoy exploring this stunning area.

From this location, the SF Bay Trail continues to Carquinez Strait Regional Shoreline and beyond into the city. You can extend your hike from here and explore as long as you like, or head back across the stunning bridge for a repeat experience of the beautiful scenery.
