Douglas Pass is a mountain pass in Colorado, known for its stunning scenery and steep, winding roads. When navigating Douglas Pass, be prepared for dramatic elevation changes and breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains and canyons.

Douglas Pass Trail winds up the mountain overlooking Douglas Pass and offering breathtaking views all the time. The trail gets becomes more flat after the first incline but includes many ups and downs all along the way.

Causeway Lake is a stunning alpine lake with towering rock walls and beautiful pine forest around the lake shore. Take your time and spend the night in the backcountry to enjoy this pristine nature to the fullest.

The trailhead is usually open June to November, depending on snowfall, and grants access to a number of epic trails including Devils Causeway. Overnight parking is allowed, and there are campsites that are first-come first-served.

Once you leave the shoreline of Little Trappers Lake, you climb up all the way towards the top next to the Chinese Wall. Look back for a great view of Little Trappers Lake and its larger brother.

Little Trappers Lake is a fun run to a beautiful spot. Surrounded by the Flat Tops, you have a great view of the Chinese Wall. It is also a good spot for fishing.
