Nevada Beach Campground is in the Lake Tahoe Basin of Nevada and is on the eastern shores of the lake. It is a popular campground, so make sure you reserve your site ahead of time.

There is a short accessible path to the overlook from Highway 50 with restrooms and three stone benches. You can leave the crushed gravel path to the overlook and climb up on the rocks of the shoreline to get a better view. This spot is well worth the stop!

Like its more famous neighbor Lake Tahoe, Topaz Lake is divided by the California-Nevada border. Due to this the Lodge just on the Nevada border side has all of the requisite Nevada slot machines and black jack tables. The lake itself if popular for fishing, sailing, and other watersports; with a number of hiking and ATV trails around the area as well.

This is a pretty little lake, nestled in the heart of a dense poplar forest. A small quiet corner where it is good to take a break.

Logan Shoals is an easy access view point over Lake Tahoe. You can stop here for a break and take a short walk to the viewing area. There are also seasonal restrooms available during the warmer months.

This first vista point is just steps from the picnic area. An even better view is further up along the trail.
