This historic lighthouse was built in 1878 and is maintained by the Martha's Vineyard Museum. The museum runs $5 sunset tours during the summer, and the lighthouse is also available to be rented out as a venue for weddings and other events.

The cycle paths are well developed and there is little traffic.

Sandwiched between Joseph Sylvia State Beach and the Felix Neck Conservation Area, Harts Harbor is a large body of water. It's actually an extension of Sengekontacket Pond and is nice to look at as you ride along the bike path.

Farm Pond looks more like a lake from the bike path with how big it is. You also get a pretty good view of the surrounding wetlands and the ocean on the other side of the highway from here.

West Chop Light has guided boats safely into Vineyard Haven Harbor since 1817. The white tower looks over the coast from the northern tip of West Chop and belongs to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Built in 1869, East Chop Light overlooks Vineyard Haven Harbor and Sound. The lighthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places. It's one of five lighthouses on Martha's Vineyard island. It was the first ever active lighthouse to be transferred to a civilian organization.
