This park has been bringing people together for decades. The inviting trails will get out out hiking or biking, and the playground, picnic area, & grills ensure that the whole family will find something to enjoy. All the water nearby is beautiful but can be a breeding ground for biting insects, so bring some bug spray during the warmer months.

Shoemaker Bridge is one of several covered bridges in Columbia County. Original construction was completed in 1881 and nearly 100 years later (1979) it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Ricketts Glen State Park is named after R. Bruce Ricketts who built the now famous trail to the park's waterfalls. These falls are what Ricketts Glen is known for and due to this the Falls Trail can get crowded during peak season. That being said, at over 13,000 acres the park still offers plenty of hidden gems for those looking to explore.

Benton is a small town with a lot to offer. Set near Fishing Creek you can most likely find the fish biting somewhere nearby, also the excellent Ricketts Glen State Park is just up the road. If you're just passing through it's worth a stop at one of the local restaurants for a bite to eat.

Nescopeck Creek's name comes from the Native Lenape language and means "deep, black waters". Over its nearly 40 mile run the stream flows through a number of city parks, golf courses, and State Gamelands before joining the Susquehanna River. However, the best area for recreation along the creek in is Nescopeck State Park near its headwaters.

This small town is set in the hills of Pennsylvania bordered by Black Creek to the north and Racoon Creek to the south. It has a number of locally owned restaurants and shops and is also close to larger cities like Allentown and Wilkes-Barre if you need anything that is not available here.

Millville is a quiet small town in Northeast Pennsylvania. However, there are plenty of interesting buildings and houses in the town and if you're hungry Grumpy's Creekside Cabin just north of town is excellent.

The Twin Bridges, also known as the East & West Paden Bridges, were constructed in 1884 and named after John Paden who operated a local sawmill. The original West Bridge was washed away in a 2006 and subsequently rebuilt. There is a nice park with picnic tables, grills, benches, and parking nearby that was built when a newer bridge was built adjacent to the Twin Bridges.
