At Hallstad meadows, which is located by Lake Järnlunden, there is a very nice hay meadow. There you can find many of the typical plants that belong to hay meadows. Examples of plants found here are cluster fibble, pigroot, mower fibble and night violet.

During your bike ride you can stop for a picture of this quiet religious building, in Skedsangen.

From this point of the road in Rimforsa you have a breautiful view of the canal.

"Lerje-sten", a rare beautiful stone block, only 0.5 m. thick and 1 m. wide at the ground but fully 3 meters high and of the peculiar shape that the narrowing width contracts into a neck, after which it widens again into an almost round head. Folklore maintains the belief that a "king" was killed there.

The church in Horn was built in the 12th century, and today we can still see the original tower from the first structure. The rest of the church was replaced in 1804 by the beautiful stone church that we can see today. In the porch remains the 12th-century iron door, still preserved. The baptismal font also belongs to the oldest items and is from the 13th century. In the 19th century, the only decoration in the church was a simple cross and above it the sun, symbolising God.

There is a public toilet and shower that can be used for a small fee (10kr shower, bring cash). Not sure if open all year but it was open at the end of August (which is already off-season in Sweden). Also some picnic tables with view of the canal, and very close to a small supermarket so perfect spot for a break
