Manson is a small, friendly lake town on the north shore of Lake Chelan. There are multiple wineries, with orchards, vineyards, and mountain views surrounding the town. Wapato Lake, neighboring Dry Lake and Rose Lake, spans 216 acres and has a boat launch and dock, while much of the rest of the shoreline is privately owned. Fishing is popular here, and there are wineries on the shores where visitors can try local wine and enjoy the waterfront views.

Don Morse Memorial Park spans 40 acres of public waterfront on the north shore of Lake Chelan, with about 2,000 feet of shoreline. The park is open year-round, but many amenities are seasonal. Summer, especially from Memorial Day to Labor Day, is the busiest time of year. Visitors can swim, paddleboard, sunbathe, skateboard, play mini-golf, or picnic under a shelter. The park has restrooms and is near bus stops.
