This trail runs along the old railroad that was built to facilitate easy delivery of goods during the construction of the dam. It's not paved but the hard packed gravel should be rideable on just about any bike. You'll definitely be glad you took this trail when you see the incredible views across the dam and Lake Mead.

This area offers many different vantage points to take in the wonderful views, both natural and man-made.

Great trail that goes around the River Mountains. This section follows a large portion of the Las Vegas Bay. It is a popular trail with cyclist, walkers and runners.

The Hoover Dam is an iconic American symbol that hardly needs introduction. This engineering marvel was completed during the Great Depression and impounds Lake Mead, which is the largest reservoir in the United States (by volume). This is a truly amazing place to visit that is recognized as a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark, a National Historic Landmark, and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
