Very interesting and educational! A small museum that you can take your time with... it's worth taking a guided tour. I particularly liked the short films that portray the 16 Nobel Prize winners. A little dry, but the significance of the Nobel Prize as an institution becomes clear! And definitely pay attention to the ceiling...

Karl XIV Johan (1763-1844) ruled Sweden and Norway from 1811 until his death. The equestrian statue was created by the artist Bengt Erland on behalf of Karl XIV Johan's son in 1854 to mark the 40th anniversary of the union of Sweden and Norway.

The museum is dedicated to information about the Nobel Prize, Nobel Prize winners from 1901 to the present day and the life of Nobel Prize founder Alfred Nobel (1833-1896). It is housed together with the Swedish Academy and its Nobel Library in the former building of the Stockholm Stock Exchange, which is located on Stortorget square in the old town of Stockholm. The museum has shown exhibitions on personalities such as Marie Curie, Nelson Mandela and Winston Churchill as well as other Nobel Prize winners. The museum opened in spring 2001.
