For runners specially there is a Parkrun community in Hagapark. You can join the community via strava and connect with more people. People practice in this park daily from stretch of 5K to 21K , at different pace , and at different hours of the day. Mix of gravel, flat surface and also elevations added at points. you can see deers, swans and ducks in this park. Beautiful nature and well surrounded running path by trees, lake.

Inaugurated in 1906 and named after 16th century King Gustav Vasa, it was designed by architect Agi Lindegren in the Baroque Revival style. Situated between two busy avenues partially lined with trees, its dome rises 60 metres (200 ft) above the nearby Odenplan plaza. The floor plan is in the shape of a Greek cross and seats 1,200 people, making it one of the largest churches in Stockholm.

Unfortunately, the noise level from the motorway on the other side of the lake is considerable. I cannot understand why they built a glass wall there instead of a proper noise barrier.

The Gustaf Vasa kyrka is a church building in the Norrmalm district of the Swedish capital Stockholm. It was inaugurated on June 10, 1906 on the Odenplan square. It is named after Gustav I Vasa, the first Swedish king after the Kalmar Union. The building was designed by the architect Agi Lindegren and, with around 1,200 seats, is one of the largest churches in Stockholm. Highly recommend to take a walk there. Along this coastline, you have many swimming entrance and amazing for afternoon sun. If you continue to the botany garden, there is also a really nice route to walk along the coast. So beautiful all the way for an hour of walking

Really nice segment with amazing view over lake Brunnsviken and Hagaparken. There are some places for sunbathing and some romantic spots for picnics. Close by is a kayak rental (south) and the botanical garden (north), where one can find some cafes. It is highly recommended to walk the full round around Brunnsviken (12 km) passing by the English park, barbecue areas, a sandy beach, Hagaparken with its palace and Chinese pavilion as well as boat and kayak clubs.

This is very nice lake for animal watchers. You will see many birds, ducks raise their chicks here. The lake isn’t suitable for swimming due to the size and many vegetations.
