Don’t miss Gustav III’s Pavilion while wandering Hagaparken. This elegant neoclassical retreat from the 18th century sits in a peaceful spot with lovely views of the park. A valuable piece of royal history to add to your hike.

For runners specially there is a Parkrun community in Hagapark. You can join the community via strava and connect with more people. People practice in this park daily from stretch of 5K to 21K , at different pace , and at different hours of the day. Mix of gravel, flat surface and also elevations added at points. you can see deers, swans and ducks in this park. Beautiful nature and well surrounded running path by trees, lake.

Inaugurated in 1906 and named after 16th century King Gustav Vasa, it was designed by architect Agi Lindegren in the Baroque Revival style. Situated between two busy avenues partially lined with trees, its dome rises 60 metres (200 ft) above the nearby Odenplan plaza. The floor plan is in the shape of a Greek cross and seats 1,200 people, making it one of the largest churches in Stockholm.

Unfortunately, the noise level from the motorway on the other side of the lake is considerable. I cannot understand why they built a glass wall there instead of a proper noise barrier.

Haga Palace grounds or Large Haga castle ruins are the remnants of Gustav III's grand plan for the Great Haga Palace in Haga Park. The commission to design the castle was given to not less than six architects from home and abroad. The construction did not get more than the base before King was assassinated in March 1792 and construction ceased. Today, only the castle's basement walls are left to inspect.

The Gustaf Vasa kyrka is a church building in the Norrmalm district of the Swedish capital Stockholm. It was inaugurated on June 10, 1906 on the Odenplan square. It is named after Gustav I Vasa, the first Swedish king after the Kalmar Union. The building was designed by the architect Agi Lindegren and, with around 1,200 seats, is one of the largest churches in Stockholm. The design followed the neo-baroque style based on the model of Italian baroque churches with a Greek cross as the floor plan.
