Although it is not the highest peak of the Serra Calderona, Pico del Águila, located at 878 meters above sea level, is one of the most impressive natural viewpoints in the province of Valencia. Located next to the town of Gátova, Valencia, it is a large peak located in the Serra de la Calderona Natural Park that offers a spectacular view of the entire area.

Cueva, you have to be careful, from the track you can see the fence, but the crossing is not indicated, but easy to find

Top of Pico del Águila at 878m above sea level with incredible 360-degree views of Gátova, the Sierra de Espadan, the Alt Palancia Valley and the Sierra Calderona. The access road begins in Gatova with sections of somewhat steep slope but with a concrete surface, so it can be traveled without problems in any weather condition. When you arrive at the forest hut, all you have to do is take a few minutes to catch your breath and appreciate the beautiful views!

Old construction located in a privileged location a few meters from the Pico del Águila forestry hut. From here the views of Gátova and the Sierra de la Calderona are incredible. There are tables to have a picnic and take a few minutes to appreciate the views!
