The bridge was built in the 11th century and served as an important crossing point on the old road to Castile. It crosses the Cadagua River and is one of the city's landmarks. The bridge consists of three arches and has a Gothic tower added in the 15th century. This tower was formerly used to collect tolls.

Located on a plain in Álava, south of the municipality, on the left bank of the Nervión River, Orduña is known for its impressive mountain scenery and Basque cultural heritage. If you stop by the town, I recommend visiting the Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Ancient, and the walls of Tras Santiago.
