The first bullfight was held on August 6, 1846, with bulls from Don Gaspar Muñoz. The bullring is built with granite and masonry walls and has a capacity for 8,000 spectators spread over three floors. In addition to bullfighting, it is also used for other types of events, such as music concerts.
