Pico Cancho La Muela, located between La Garganta (Cáceres) and the Sierra de Béjar, very close to Hervás: Spectacular views of the Hoya Moros Glacial Cirque, the Sierra de Béjar, the Ambroz Valley, the Sierra de Gata, the Sierra de Francia and the Navamuño reservoir.

What to see in Montemayor del Río San Vicente Castle A 13th-century fortress, renovated in the 14th and 15th centuries. Today it houses the Medieval Interpretation Center and a restaurant recommended by the MICHELIN Guide. From its tower, you can see the historical routes and the Cuerpo de Hombre River valley. Church of Our Lady of the Assumption A 13th-century Romanesque-Gothic church with figured corbels and a 16th-century tower. Main Square The town's central hub, featuring stately homes, the Royal Prison, and a fountain with a 16th-century pillory. Walls and cobbled streets Mountain architecture with timber framing, similar to Candelario and villages in the Sierra de Francia. Hermitage of San Antonio (17th century) and Stone Bridge (1700) over the Cuerpo de Hombre River.

One of the most beautiful and least known villages in the Sierra de Béjar, declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1982:

Located between the municipalities of Navarredonda de la Rinconada and Escurial de la Sierra, in the Sierra de Francia-Quilamas region. A protected natural area within the Natura 2000 network, with oak and chestnut forests and wildlife such as the golden eagle and griffon vulture.

The Silver Route (Vía Verde de la Plata) in the Port of Béjar is part of the old Astorga–Plasencia railway line, now a nature trail for hiking and cycling. Don't miss the Little Station: a bar/restaurant in the old station, with a terrace and railway atmosphere (open during tourist season).

It offers spectacular views over the Sierra de Francia, the Sierra de Béjar, the Campo Charro region, northern Cáceres, and even the Serra da Estrela in Portugal. You can drive up via the SA-203 road (from La Alberca or El Cabaco), although it is often closed due to snow in winter. There are also hiking trails, such as the GR-10, starting from La Alberca.

La Peña de Francia is one of the most emblematic places in the province of Salamanca, located in the Las Batuecas-Sierra de Francia Natural Park, within the municipality of El Cabaco, about 81 km from Salamanca and near La Alberca.
