This restaurant is now called "La Cocotte Bleue." The new owner has ADHD, and that's probably partly why the food was served very quickly. Very tasty! A bit pricey, though.

Lake Aydat is the largest natural lake in Auvergne. It is a volcanic dam nestled in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park. The view of the lake and the volcanoes is superb. Opposite you can see Sauteyras and Aydat beach.

The Puy de Combegrasse, located in the Monts Dore massif, offers a superb hike with breathtaking views of the Auvergne volcanoes. From its summit, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the green valleys, the volcanic plateaus, and, on a clear day, the Monts du Sancy and the Puy de Dôme.

Beautiful, medieval church from the 12th century with a three-aisled nave. The church was open when we visited.
