In the upper part of the lake there is the Mulino del Ghitello, a 16th century rural complex, which comes into operation only for demonstration purposes as the mill is now home to the offices and reception center of the Gole della Breggia Park. In the same complex today there is also space for La Casa del Vino and the restaurant which promote Ticino wine and products.
