Thorncombe Barrow is a hilltop with a Neolithic bowl barrow on its northern slope. Bowl barrows are funerary monuments dating from the Late Neolithic period to the Late Bronze Age (2400-1500 BC). From the hilltop, you get breathtaking views over the Quantocks.

Standing at 951 feet (290m), Bicknoller Post is a marker for this hill summit, one of the many in the Quantocks Hill Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It gets its name from the village of Bicknoller to the West edge of the Quantocks. Up on the tops here, you will get to experience some incredible views over the moorland, woodland and towards the coastline.
