For lovers of Roman culture and art, Mérida is the perfect city.

Montijo Dam. It holds the water of the Guadiana River as it passes through Mérida, and divides the flow into two parts, one to give continuity to the river's own course and another to bring water to the crops in the area through the Montijo canal.

Nucleus very close to Mérida which is known for its Roman dam which is located in the north of the town. In the old center of the town is the Iglesia Purísima Concepción.

This colossal aqueduct is part of a hydraulic pipeline that brought water from the Proserpina reservoir or Charca de la Albuera. It is popularly known as "Los Milagros" due to the admiration that its state of conservation caused in locals and foreigners despite the vicissitudes of time. Awesome place!
