Built in 1960, next to the Camporredondo reservoir, it guarantees the irrigation of 50,000 hectares of crops. It forms part of the "Ruta de los Pantanos" next to the Aguilar de Campoo, Ruesga, Requejada and Camporredondo reservoirs.
