Within the municipality of Marçà, there is a socio-cultural gem still unknown to many. It is the museum of the old printing press of this small town in Priorat. A space that can not only be visited, but also allows documents to be printed in various techniques such as lead or wood. In this way, it makes everything more intuitive and didactic. The collection of machines at the Museum of the Old Printing Press covers a whole range of years. From 1300 to 1900, including various ideologists such as Laurens Janszoon Coster or Johannes Gutenberg. A visit is essential!

Llaberia is an old medieval settlement that belongs to the municipality of Tivisa. It is worth walking through its cobbled streets and admiring the ancient facades. One of the houses, called Cal Riba, dates from 1640. The Romanesque church of San Juan Bautista also stands out.

At the end of the 19th century, all of Catalonia suffered an economic downturn that coincided with an attack by the phylloxera insect, which killed the vineyards. This led to the depopulation of many towns. However, in this area, the decline was not as severe as in others thanks to the railway line, which played a fundamental role in the wine trade, as it quickly connected the consuming and producing areas, ensuring that the wine arrived at its destination in better condition.

When I arrived at El Collet, about 400 m from the Celler, and pitched my tent, I could hardly have imagined that, before returning to their home, the owner couple would pay me a visit to inquire about my stay. No doubt to meet whoever had happened to pitch a tent there and make sure they could leave in peace. They were very kind and did not cause me any inconvenience.

Founded in 2002 by the Domenech-Nogueroles family with the aim of conserving and improving the estate's natural heritage, creating a viticulture project that expresses the landscape and biodiversity of the surroundings, becoming a unique ecosystem. In 2015, the result of all this work was consolidated to receive the recognition of "Qualified Estate Wine" by Incavi and DO Montsant.

Heredad Mas Collet, located on the outskirts of Capçanes, 3.5 km from the town, occupies an old typical Priorat farmhouse dating from 1795, fully restored, which was the birthplace of the famous Catalan bandit Joan Barceló i Anguera, known popularly known as Carrasclet. This personage, who went from making charcoal with oak trees to being a prominent resister against the Bourbon troops, became a colonel in the army of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Now among pines, vineyards, olive and hazelnut trees, the farmhouse was converted in 2008 into a 4-star hotel, owned by Julián Maza, it maintains authentic parts of its first stone typical of the area of the Priorat region, with almost 100 hectares that belong to the farm and which can be enjoyed with hiking trails surrounded by nature and streams, especially the corner known as Racó and Coves de la Sendal a few meters below the farm. It is currently permanently closed.
