On November 26, 2025, the water covered many areas that are normally passable. You had to "climb" several rocks to get around the reservoir. This section was especially tricky when descending, and even more so if you were alone.

At the end of November 2025, the reservoir's water level was thankfully very high. The vegetation had grown considerably, and the only way across was at a point where you had to wade through the water. The water was freezing!

The Hermitage of the Virgin of Grace is a small and charming church located in the Bosque de la Herrería, a natural setting of great beauty in San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid), very close to the famous Chair of Philip II. It is known for being the final destination of the Pilgrimage of the Virgin of Grace, patron saint of the Royal Site of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, a festival declared of National Tourist Interest and celebrated on the second Sunday of September. The current hermitage was built by popular subscription in the 20th century, to replace previous ones that had existed in the same location since the 16th century. Despite its simplicity, it holds great sentimental and traditional value for the locals.
