At the end of November 2025, the reservoir's water level was thankfully very high. The vegetation had grown considerably, and the only way across was at a point where you had to wade through the water. The water was freezing!

The current hermitage was built by popular subscription in the 20th century, to replace previous ones that had existed in the same location since the 16th century. Despite its simplicity, it holds great sentimental and traditional value for the locals.
