The valley is known as the 'castle route'. Some castles are ruins, others have been beautifully restored. The region is wild, mountainous, with valleys and rivers. Here and there is a house and a small quiet village. You won't see any tourists here.

Tremendous views of the area. It's worth climbing

Here the Cabriel River and the Xuquer River converge. It is also where there is a good view of Cofrentes and the Embarcaderos Reservoir.

This is the epic mountain road along the cliff. It is in very good condition and hardly any cars pass by. Right at this point, there is a parking lot where you can leave your bike and go up the narrow path, if you want to visit the castle. The views of the reservoir from the top are very beautiful.

This incredible viewpoint of the Júcar river is located in a kind of recreational area next to the castle of La Pileta. As you advance you come across balconies at different heights and with different orientations. It has picnic areas and a drinking water source, so it is a perfect place to stop and rest while observing the turquoise waters of the Júcar.

From the bridge, you get the best views of Júcar. The contrast of the bluish color of the water and the green of the mountain make it a magical place.
